Last week, the Office of the Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioner announced the 2022-2023 funding for fire companies statewide including Schuylkill County's.
The annual grant program is available for volunteer and career fire companies, emergency medical services and rescue squads.
Eligible organizations may apply for grant funding for a combination of up to two projects in the categories of Facilities, Equipment, Debt Reduction, Training, Recruitment and Retention, Revenue
