Born in Pottsville, PA on November 17, 1933, he was the son of the late Harold and Anna (Post) Wade.
Bill was a graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School, Class of 1951. He worked as a clerk, then as a co-manager for A & P Market in Pottsville for 43 years. Bill was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Pottsville and he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons: Gregory and Joseph Wade, brothers: Joseph,
Stephen, Edward, and Leonard Wade and a sister Dolores Barnes.
Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Colleen (McGovern) Wade; Pottsville; a son Daniel S. Wade and his wife Kejia, Orwigsburg; two daughters: Cecelia L. Campbell and her husband Timothy, Mechanicsville and Bridget S. Wade, Pottsville; eight grandchildren: Cassandra Wade (David Kostura), Palo Alto, Andrew Wade (Kim Koles), Kaska, Karissa Beasley (husband Daniel), Texas, Douglas Wade, Texas, Samantha Stutz (Bill Boehle) VT, Riley Wade, Orwigsburg, Zachary Campbell (wife Christina), NC, and Adam Campbell (fiancée Caitlin Rhodes), Pittsburgh; twelve great-grandchildren: Ryon, Cambria, Giuliana, Nicky, Margot, Andi, Addilyn, McKinley, Maddox, Olivia, Gage, and Aubrey; brothers: Vincent Wade, St. Clair and Patrick Wade, Schuylkill Haven; sisters: JoAnne Everdale, Port Carbon, Mary Troutman, St. Clair, and Loretta Snitzer, Port Carbon; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Pottsville on Saturday March 4th at 10 AM, with Rev. Philip Rodgers officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Friday evening from 6-8PM and Saturday morning from 8:30-9:30AM at the Robert A Evans Jr Funeral Home in Port Carbon.
Interment will be held in the Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Pottsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church Memorial Fund 319 Mahantongo Street Pottsville, PA 17901.

Robert J. Werdt, 57, of Valley View, passed away suddenly, Saturday February 25, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pottsville.
Born in Pottsville, December 4, 1965, a son of the late Robert and Sandra Meehan Werdt.
He was employed by Metal Industries, Hegins for over 25 years.
Rob could often be found working on his truck, motorcycle, and RC. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He loved being pappy to his granddaughters, Maci, Nova and Willow.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister Tammi L. Kissinger.
Surviving are his four sons, Travis and Tyler Werdt both of Newburg; Cody Werdt and his wife Heather, Tower City, and Logan Werdt, Williamstown; six grandchildren; two sisters, Sister Marie Damian, I.H.M., Coal Township, and Regina Michaels, Williamstown; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Rob's life will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 6:00 pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30-6 pm at the chapel.

She was born in Shamokin, PA on July 6, 1932, a daughter of the late Theresa (Bioletti) and Joseph Vesseliza. Widow of Joseph F. Padelsky, who died in 2006, she was a member of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church, Minersville and of Saint Matthew the Evangelist Church of the Holy Family Parish, Minersville.
In addition to her parents, and her husband, Joseph, she was preceded in death by a her brothers, Robert, William, and Joseph Vesseliza, daughter-in-law, Stephanie Padelsky, and son-in-law, Dave Kroznuski.
Arlene is survived by her sister, Audrey Vitacco, her daughters, Teri Kroznuski, Jolene, wife of Tom Hinkle, Ranel Brown, Rita Berry, and her partner Steve Stahler, and her son, Jeffrey Padelsky. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Courtney, Shayne, David, Matthew, Thomas, Arlene "Sis", Trevor, Kristi, Leah, and Taylor. Great grandchildren: Bella, Holden, Avalynn, Coralee, Francis, Josef, Mitzi, Vincent, and Myles. Arlene’s favorite pastime and greatest joy was making everlasting memories with her many close and lifelong friends, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
All are respectfully invited to attend a visitation from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Friday, March 3rd at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. 104 S. 4th St., Minersville, PA.
A religious service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. There will be a private interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Minersville Free Public Library 220 S. 4th St., Minersville, PA 17954. The family has entrusted the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville with the arrangements.

William J. Gaumer, 91, of Tamaqua, PA died on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in Coaldale, PA.
Born in Weatherly, PA on February 24, 1931, he was the son of the late William and Myrtle (Brown) Gaumer. A 1948 graduate of Weatherly High School, William was employed by Cooper Industries in Weatherly as a quality control inspector. He was a member of the Weatherly Fire Company, a social member of the Tamaqua American Legion, and attended Trinity United Church of Christ, Tamaqua. William was a good basketball player and an excellent golfer; but, will be remembered most for being loving, kind, and well dressed. He was a true gentleman liked by all.
William is survived by his companion of 36 years, Eleanor Hadesty and nieces, Susan Marley of Hazleton, PA, Michelle Miller of Weatherly, and Gayle Ripple of Bethlehem, PA. He was predeceased by his sisters, Jean Ripple and Laverne Miller and nephew, Robert Miller.
Memorials in his name may be made to the Endowment Fund of Trinity United Church of Christ, 22 Lafayette Street, Tamaqua, PA 18252. Services will be held and announced at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Tamaqua.
