Schuylkill League Basketball Tournament

Tips Off This Saturday

Martz Madness begins this weekend with the start of the Schuylkill League Basketball Tournament.

The Schuylkill League has announced the following schedule for the boys' and girls' basketball teams that will be competing for the League Championship at Martz Hall in Pottsville. 

For the Quarterfinal and Semi Final Round all tickets will be sold at the door with the following prices:

•  Adults $6 (No Senior Citizen Price)
• Students $3

For the Finals, participating schools will sell advance tickets with the following prices: 

•  Adults $6 (No Senior Citizen Price)
• Students $3

All tickets at the door will be $6.

Saturday, February 11th, 2023 - Quarterfinals

• 2:30pm - GIRLS - Pine Grove vs. Minersville
• 4:00pm - GIRLS - Blue Mountain vs. Tri-Valley
• 5:30pm - BOYS - Blue Mountain vs. Tri-Valley
• 7:00pm - BOYS - Pottsville Area vs. Schuylkill Haven

Tuesday, February 14th, 2023 - Semifinals

• 6:00pm - GIRLS - North Schuylkill vs. Winner of Pine Grove/Minersville
• 7:30pm - GIRLS - Marian Catholic vs. Winner of Blue Mountain/Tri-Valley

Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 - Semifinals

• 6:00pm - BOYS - North Schuylkill vs. Winner of Pottsville Area/Schuylkill Haven
• 7:30pm - BOYS - Marian Catholic vs. Winner of Blue Mountain vs. Tri-Valley/MahanoyArea

Friday, February 17th, 2023 - Championship Night

• 6:00pm - Girls Schuylkill League Championship
• 7:30pm - Boys Schuylkill League Championship
