An SUV was involved in a crash with another vehicle then crashed into a home in Mahanoy City on Sunday morning.
The crash occurred just before 11:00am, Sunday, when an SUV driving west on Centre Street collided with a Chevrolet Sedan at the intersection with D Street. The sedan was crossing Centre Street at the intersection.
After the collision occurred, the SUV continued west with heavy front end damage, veering into the porch of the home at 720 West Centre Street.
According to Mahanoy City Police, the Sedan had a green light when the SUV ran the red light. The driver of the SUV also had no valid driver's license.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Steve's Towing.
The Citizen's Fire Company of Mahanoy City handled clean up and traffic control.
