Firefighters are battling a house fire in New Philadelphia Friday morning.
At 10:45am, emergency personnel were called to 161 Valley Street for a house fire. Initial reports were that the fire was a kitchen fire.
State Police were first on scene and reported a working fire with a fire through the roof and a column of smoke showing.
Numerous units were called in from surrounding areas to fight the fire including multiple RIT. A tanker tasker force was also requested.
EMS was requested for at least one burn victim.
As of 11:30am, firefighters were still battling the fire.
