The Pennsylvania State Police are attempting to identify a person caught on camera burglarizing a home near Frackville.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, on Saturday, March 11th, 2023, around 4:45pm, Troopers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at 154 South Spencer Street, in West Mahanoy Township.
The victim, who was not home at the time, observed an intruder in his basement via surveillance video in real time and contacted a neighbor to check his home.The victim's neighbor then observed the suspect running out of the residence and chased the intruder on foot as they fled the scene.
The victim's neighbor later lost visual of the suspect.
The intruder was described as 5'8"-5'9" in height with slender build and was wearing black and white Nike sneakers with black pants, and a black sweatshirt. There was a red logo on the front of the sweatshirt.
