Born in Pottsville, October 6, 1954, She was a daughter of the late James and Stella (Walko) Leddy.
She graduated from St. Clair High School in1974 and was a member of the former St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon.
She worked for Bethany Home for Children of Womelsdorf working as a Houseparent and Schuylkill Nursing of Pottsville as a Private Duty Aide before retiring.
Patty enjoyed the beach, shopping and Notre Dame Football but most of all she love spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are her husband of 46 years Raymond Miske Jr., 2 sons Raymond Miske III and his wife Kathryn of Schuylkill Haven; Randall Miske of Port Carbon; brother Robert Leddy and his wife Florence of Mill Creek Manor; sister Rita Cullather of Schuylkill Haven; nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday from St. Stephen Chapel 218 Valley Street, Port Carbon. The Rev. Edward Conley will be officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Thursday at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Stephen Chapel PO 104 Port Carbon, PA 17965.

Born in Shenandoah on July 25, 1949, he was the son of the late Louis and Veronica “Vera” (Opanel) Tedesco.
He was a 1967 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah.
Mr. Tedesco was a decorated Vietnam Army Veteran. He received the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Prior to his retirement, Jim was employed in construction.
He was a member of the former Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Shenandoah. Jim was also a member of the 500 Fish and Game Club, Shenandoah, the former AMVETS Post, Shenandoah and the American Legion a US Veterans Association. He enjoyed trips to the local casinos. Above all else, he cherished the time spent with his family and in more recent years, his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of fifty years, the former Kathryn “Kate” Garvey; two sons, Jeffrey Tedesco and his wife Nina of Frackville and Gino Tedesco and his wife Katie of Barnesville; three grandchildren, Victor Tedesco, Vinetta Tedesco and Vincent Robert Tedesco; one brother, Michael Tedesco and his wife Louise of Shenandoah Heights; three sisters-in-law, Ellen Gilroy and her husband Michael of Shenandoah, Patricia Mackavage of Shenandoah and Janet Shearn of Alburtis; two brothers-in-law, Michael and John Garvey both of Shenandoah; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Religious and military services will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 11:00 am at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

Karen I. (Jacoby) Leahy, 73, of Pottsville, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, March 5, surrounding by her loving family.
A Memorial Service will be announced.

Born on June 24, 1961 in Pottsville, he was a son of Ernest Rehrer of Pine Grove and the late Virginia "Ginny" Mars Rehrer.
Ricky had been a dock worker for Roadway Trucking and worked at Pine Grove Homes.
He had attended the Wesleyan Church in Pine Grove.
He enjoyed going to the Pine Grove VFW, Blue Mt. Lakes and the Paradise Pub. He also loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and feeding the stray cats and birds.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, Gary and James Rehrer.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are his daughter, Samantha Demanczyk; a grandson, John Demanczyk, Jr., both of Pine Grove; two sisters, Donna Miller of Joliett, Lisa and husband Larry Shoffler of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Dr. Ira Lydic officiating. There will be a visitation on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in his memory to help with expenses.

Born in Auburn on August 26, 1926, he was a son of the late Moses L. & Mada N. (Phillips) Hummel.
Bruce was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1944.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from September 28, 1950 until he was honorably discharged, ranked as a Corporal, on September 20, 1952. A talented musician, Bruce played the trumpet in the 8th Army Band (Senior Theater Band in Korea).
Bruce was married to the late Norma Jean (Plodis) Hummel, his loving wife of 54 years; until her passing June 9, 2012.
Bruce was a devout man of God, and a faithful member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven. He held several leadership positions at church including Sunday School Superintendent, Trustee, and Chairman of the Official Board. He was a former member of the choir, sang bass in the original Echoes of Grace, and played the trumpet in the church orchestra.
Bruce was a member of the Cressona Band for 50 years. He also belonged to the Schuylkill River Boys, Baker’s Dozen, and Trumpet Trio. He is the last surviving member of the Gospel Four, and was an inaugural member of the Schuylkill Symphony.
Skilled in woodworking, he was employed by the Schuylkill Haven Casket Factory for 45 years.
He is survived by two children: son, Rev. Dr. Joel Bruce Hummel & wife, Nicole, Hanover, PA, and daughter, Judith Kay Devlin & husband, Michael, Schuylkill Haven, two grandchildren: Brandon M. Devlin & wife, Rebecca, Lake Wynonah, & Meghan M. Heim & husband, Rev. Jonathan, McKeansburg, and three great-grandsons: Daniel Deatrich Devlin, Micah Joel Heim, & Collin Deatrich Devlin. Bruce is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Roma Sailors, Germantown, TN, & Carol Seltzer, University Park, FL, and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Bruce is also preceded in death by his brother, Rev. Harold C. Hummel, and sister, Mildred Hummel.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven on March 18th at 11 AM. A visitation will be held at the church from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment with military honors will be privately held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
At the family’s request, contributions in Bruce’s memory may be forwarded to Cressona Band, 12 Wilson St., Cressona, PA 17929.

Randy was born in Pottsville, PA on July 9, 1955, a son of the late Katie Bessie (Miller) and Lewis John Scheithauer.
He was graduate of Pottsville High School.
Stretch was a member of Locust Valley Fish and Game, Schuylkill Chapter of Trout Unlimited and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
He last worked at Rubber Maid Pottsville.
Stretch is survived by his companion Mary Mager of Schuylkill Haven
two sons Nicholas R. Scheithauer and his companion Brittany Myrick, of Schuylkill Haven; Stepson David Houtz, husband of Krysta Houtz, of Drexel Hill, step daughter, Amy Houtz wife of Butch Young, of Pottsville; also survived by grandaughter Emma Jean Lazarchick and three sisters Cindy, Bridget and Holly.
Services will be held at a later date.

She was born on Monday, October 14, 1929, in Hegins, a daughter of the late Valentine E Herner and the late Mabel L (Williams) Herner.
She was a 1947 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School.
Arlene was a seamstress for Playtimers, Elizabethville, prior to her retirement.
She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins.
Arlene was also a member of Woodman of the World, Pitman and the Mahantongo Fire Company.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her step mother, Verna Herner; and by two brothers, Bruce Herner and Valentine Herner.
She is survived by her husband Paul H Lesher, to whom she was married for 75 years.
She is also survived by two daughters, Judy A Schreffler and her husband Jack of Pitman and Carol L Brosius of Pitman; a son, Paul B Lesher and his wife Beverly of Mt. Airy, MD; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins, on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Benjamin Scholl and Rev. Daniel Herner officiating.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday at the church.
Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Hegins.

Sharon Louise Dorton, 75, of Frackville, passed away Friday, March 3rd, at her home.
Sharon was born in Pottsville, Pa. on February 14, 1948, a daughter of the late Grace E. (Weiderhold) and Alvo Nettles. She was the wife of Ralph J. Dorton Jr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother William (Billy) Nettles.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Ralph, a daughter, Robin Sweigert, a son, George, husband of Renee Stefnic. Sharon is also survived by a sister, Grace Truscott, nine brothers, James, Paul Charles, Gary, Robert, Alvo, David, Ronald, and Donald Nettles She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
All Services are private at the convenience of family.
