Sen. Dave Argall (R-29) and Rep. Dane Watro (R-116) invite local residents to join them for an open house at their joint Mahanoy City office at 1 West Centre St., Mahanoy City, on Thursday, March 2nd from 5-7:00 p.m.
Argall and Watro will hold a town hall meeting, where attendees will have the chance to ask questions about state and local issues, starting at 6 p.m.
“I’m excited to welcome Rep. Watro to my Mahanoy City office – by sharing this space, we’re saving taxpayer dollars,” said Argall. “Constituent service is one of my top priorities. I would encourage anyone from the 29th district to contact our offices for assistance with any state-related matter.”
“I am looking forward to meeting constituents of the district at our open house event,” said Watro. “Invite your family and friends to visit my staff and I and discuss issues that are important to you.”
Constituents can visit or contact the office for information on a variety of state issues, including property tax and rent rebate applications, PACE applications, higher education grant applications, copies of maps, voter registration forms, state brochures and public service information, state ID cards, renewal applications for vehicle and license registrations and other PennDOT paperwork. The office also provides information and updates on legislation, as well as copies of state laws and pending legislation.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the Mahanoy Area Historical Society Museum on the first floor and visit the Schuylkill Community Education Council to learn about their programs and classes on the second floor.
