Shenandoah Woman Found Trespassing in Several Homes

A Shenandoah woman was found squatting in several Shenandoah row homes over the weekend.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Sunday, February 26th, 2023, around 3:00pm, a homeowner arrived at a home he was remodeling in the 200 block of North Bower Street.

The victim reported that he arrived at the home and found the door kicked in, and various pieces of wire cut and missing from the home.

Police cleared the scene and while the victim was securing the home several minutes later, he heard a noise, and saw feet running up the stairs.

Police returned and searched the home where they found holes in the attic and basement.  The holes were created to access the entire set of row homes from 223 to 229 North Bower Street.

Tiffany Koncsler, 34, of Shenandoah was found hiding in a basement.  Suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia were also found.

Koncsler was taken into custody and arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Stephen Bayer on felony charges of criminal trespassing and burglary and misdemeanor drug charges.

Koncsler was remanded to Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $5,000(10%) straight cash bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 30th, 2023, before Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Kilker.
