According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Saturday, March 18th, 2023, around 6:30pm, Troopers were dispatched to a home on Maple Avenue in Barnesville, in Ryan Township for a welfare check.
Upon entry into the home, Troopers found 2 people deceased inside.
Those two people were identified as Lisa Long, 56, of Barnesville and Ronald Zangari, 52, of Girardville.
The Schuylkill County Coroner's Office was called and pronounced both at the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing and the Troop L Major Case Team has been called. State Police say the incident is isolated and there is no threat to the public.
