Schuylkill Technology Center Students Engrave Bricks for Hillside SPCA

Two students enrolled in the Electro-Mechanical Technology Program at the North Campus of Schuylkill Technology Center utilize the Boss Laser to engrave bricks for the Hillside SPCA’s Courtyard as part of their Capital Campaign.

Hillside supporters who donated $1000 or more to the Capital Campaign (https://www.hillsidespca.com/) had a brick engraved in their name to be placed in the memorial courtyard.

The Boss Laser, which was purchased with grants from TE Connectivity, can engrave masonry, metal, wood, cork, and gasket paper. Most recently, the students have been using the device to print gaskets for use in the Outdoor Power Technology, Diesel, and Automotive Technology Programs.
