The Shenandoah Valley Drama Club Presents Matilda the Musical this weekend.
Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical is the story of an extraordinary girl who dares to take a stand and change her own destiny. Matilda is unloved by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Wormwood, but bonds with her lovable school teacher Miss Honey. The headmistress of the school, Agatha Trunchbull loves to punish children who do not abide by her rules. With Matilda’s courage, she could be the saving grace for her big and little kid peers!
The show is directed by Meghan Artley, music directed by Rocco Roguskie, stage managed by Camryn Carduff, and assisted stage managed by Lindsey Zackaravage-Schaeffer. All four advisors are alumni of SVDC.

Tickets can be purchased Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, leading up to the show each night from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
Performances will take place on Friday, April 28th, 2023 and Saturday, April 29th, 2023 at 7:00pm and Sunday, April 30th at 1:00pm.
