A Barnesville man is facing drug charges after an investigation led to the finding of over $90,000 in drugs.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police on Monday, May 15, 2023, the Pennsylvania State Police and Schuylkill County District Attorney's Office conducted a join investigation which led to a traffic stop of Kenneth Kryworuka, 49, of Barnesville near the intersection of Joseph Henkel Street and Marian Avenue in Rush Township.
Kryworuka was wanted in Schuylkill and Luzerne Counties.
Kryworuka gave consent to Troopers to search his vehicle which led to the finding of a substantial amount of contraband, which included:
- 1,813 grams of suspected Methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $90,000
- 38 grams of suspected Fentanyl with an estimated street value of $3,800.
- Crack Cocaine
- Marijuana
- $7,500 in cash
- 2 firearms
Kryworuka was taken into custody and arraigned by Magisterial District Judge James Reiley and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $75,000 straight cash bail.
He is also being held for the 2 outstanding bench warrants.
