Schuylkill County District Attorney Michael O’Pake and the Schuylkill County Detectives are asking the public to help locate a Mahanoy City man.
Dennis T. Cooney, 47, with a last known address of 304 East Center Street, Mahanoy City, is wanted on 4 active bench warrants in Schuylkill County.
Cooney failed to appear at the Schuylkill County Courthouse on April 26, 2022, for a status conference. The original charges in this case are Burglary – Overnight Accommodations; Person present – Felony 1, Theft by unlawful taking-movable property – Felony 2, and Receiving Stolen Property – Felony 2.
Cooney also failed to appear at the Schuylkill County Courthouse on March 8, 2022, for a Guilty Plea/Sentencing. The original charge in this case is Criminal Mischief – Misdemeanor 3.
Later in 2022, he failed to appear at the Schuylkill County Courthouse on April 27, 2022, for a Status Conference. The original charges in this case are Simple Assault – Misdemeanor 2, Obstruction of the administration of law enforcement – Misdemeanor 2, and Disorderly Conduct – Misdemeanor 3.
Lastly, he failed to appear at Magisterial District Court 21-3-05 on May 5, 2022, for a preliminary hearing. The original charge in this case is Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession with Intent to Manufacture or Delivery a Controlled Substance – Felony
Cooney is described as 5 feet 11 inches in height and weighs approximately 180 lbs.
