A person was injured in a motorcycle crash on Route 901 near Minersville on Wednesday afternoon.
Just after Noon, emergency personnel were called to the area of Miners Auto on the Pottsville/Minersville Highway in Branch Township for a report of a motorcycle crash.
According to State Police at the scene, the driver of the motorcycle was wearing a helmet and sustained minor injuries.
It was not confirmed but early reports were the accident occurred due to a hit and run.
State Police say they were actively investigating the incident.
Llewellyn Fire and Minersville EMS responded to the scene.
