Born in Pottsville on February 6, 1956, he was a son of the late Claude & Sara "Ella" (Edwards) Krause.
He was the husband of Joan M. (Sterner) Krause, whom he married in 1984.
Dale was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School, Class of 1974.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ Summer Hill, Auburn.
Dale had been employed as a truck driver for J. Marlin Ernst & Sons Inc., Dutch Valley Food Distributors, & Tuscarora Coal Company.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a daughter, Krista, wife of Leon Weiser, of Minersville; a son, Scott, husband of Stephanie Krause, of Pottsville; grandchildren: Lilly, Skylar, & Wyatt Krause, Desiree, wife of Colby Thompson, Celeste, Kylie, & Mackenzie Weiser, great-grandchildren: Maximus, & Rosalee Thompson, and Emerson Johnson, as well as a sister, Linda Reed, wife of Leroy Knapp, of Orwigsburg; a brother, Todd Krause, husband of Chris Gullick, of Washington and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dale is also preceded in death by two brothers: Glenn, & Albert Krause.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, May 17th at St. Paul's United Church of Christ Summer Hill, Auburn with Pastor Kenneth McDowell officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
Interment will follow at Summer Hill Cemetery, Auburn.
At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be forwarded to Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., 25 E. Main St. Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972 to defray the cost of the funeral expenses.

He was a graduate of St. Clair High School and furthered his education in Chicago, IL. He then went on to work as an engineer and head of sales for TDC Manufacturing, Schuylkill Haven for over 40 years.
Tom was super handy and could fix anything. He was always lending a helping hand to anyone in need. A member of the Friedensburg Fish and Game, he loved fishing hunting camping and watching his football teams, Penn State and the Philadelphia Eagles.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Gerald “Gerry” Hale.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 36 years Lisa (Hess) Hale; 2 daughters Nicole Hale and Ashley Hale; 2 sisters Christine Czachor of St. Clair; Karen Adams and her husband James of St. Clair; 3 brothers Joseph Schival and his wife Gina of Royersford; James “Gee” Hale and his wife Patty of St. Clair; Eric Hale and his wife Lynn of Port Carbon; 2 sisters-in-law Erica Ramus and her husband Gary of Schuylkill Haven; Cathy Covach-Hale of Schuylkill Haven; Nieces and nephews Brian, Greg and Keith Schival; Cory Cazchor and Kelsey Bendinsky; Michael Misstishin and Jimmy Hale; Noah and Luke Hale; Lily and Austin Hale; Jacob Adams; Dakota and Brandon Ramus; 1 Great Nephew Colton Ramus.
Graveside Services will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery St. Clair, at 11:00 AM Saturday May 20, 2023 with Rev. Jack Culbert officiating. .

John Longhi, 75, of Hometown, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023 in his home after a lengthy battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. He was the husband of Juliann (Oravec) Longhi. They would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on May, 16, 2023.
Born November 4, 1947 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Bartol and Maria (Panizza) Longhi. The deceased was a 1965 graduate of Marian Catholic High School and earned his B.S. in business from The Pennsylvania State University and remained an ardent Nittany Lion fan.
A member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua, John worked for PPL for 33 years. In retirement, John and Juliann enjoyed world-traveling adventures. They were blessed to be able to spend their winters in Florida where they loved playing pickleball. An avid outdoorsman, John enjoyed fishing, boating, and hiking. One of his proudest accomplishments was hiking Mount Presanella in the Adamello-Presanella range of the Italian Alps of northern Italy. As a first-generation Italian American, he passed his love for Italy to his family and was proud to be able to take them on many visits. John was selfless in his dedication to his family. His wife, children and grandchildren were the most important parts of his life.
Surviving in addition to Juliann are his daughters Monica and her husband David Willans of Plymouth Meeting, PA, and Melissa and her husband Tom Amershek of West Penn Township. He was the loving Nonno to four grandchildren, Tyler & Derek Willans and Emily & Ethan Amershek. He is also survived by his brother, William J Longhi (Anne) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Angelina Kemmerer (Allen) and great nephew Trentino Longhi.
His 75 years were too few, but his laugh, silliness, and stories will be long remembered.

Interment will be in St. Joseph’s R.C.C. Cemetery Summit Hill, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society Tamaqua / Carbon Unit P.O. box 33 Lansford, Pennsylvania 18232.
