Pottsville Man Faces Charges for Domestic Incident
On Saturday, May 6, 2023, around 11:30pm, Pottsville Police were requested to contact staff at Geisinger Saint Luke’s Medical Center, Orwigsburg in reference to a domestic assault that occurred in the city.Officers responded to the medical center to speak with victim, a 28-year-old Pottsville woman, who was being treated for injuries sustained during a domestic assault at her residence that was located in the 100 block of Queen Ave, Pottsville.
The woman stated that her boyfriend, Kenneth Foss, 32, assaulted her as the two were engaged in a verbal altercation. She also said that Foss head butted her then later struck with his fist one time in the area of her chin. Foss’s assault caused severe pain to the right side of her jaw and right ear.
Based on Foss’s actions a criminal complaint was completed requesting a warrant be issued for the arrest of Kenneth Foss for one count of simple assault and one count of harassment pursuant to domestic violence arrests. A warrant was issued for Foss’s arrest by District Justice David Rossi.

On Monday, May 8th, 2023, Foss was arrested and arraigned on the above charges by Magisterial District Judge James Reiley. Foss was released on $15,000 unsecured bail.

Pottsville Woman Faces Charges for Assaulting Mother
On Sunday, May 7, 2023, around 12:20am, Pottsville Police Units were dispatched to 210 North 10th Street for a disturbance.Further investigation revealed Jenaya Glick, resident, assaulted her 42-year-old mother, inside the home causing visible injury consisting of swelling, bleeding and pain to her nose. The victim refused medical treatment on scene. After being escorted out of the home by other residents Glick intentionally smashed multiple windows by punching them from the front porch.
Glick was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge David J. Rossi via video conference for Simple Assault (M2) pursuant to probable cause arrests in domestic violence cases, Harassment (S) and Criminal Mischief (S) as a result of this incident. Glick was later released on $25,000.00 unsecured bail.
