On Wednesday evening, neighboring Little League All Star teams from Ashland and Frackville faced off.
The game placed North Schuylkill classmates and future Spartan Baseball players against each other in a highly competitive game with lots of emotion.
Frackville would score first in the 1st inning, but Ashland would answer back with 3 scores of their own to take an early lead.
In the 2nd, Ashland extended that lead to 5-1.
In the 3rd, Frackville got a run of their own and caught up 5-4.
In the 5th, Ashland scored once more where the score would remain for the final 6-4.
Within the District 24 Majors Pool A, Ashland has a 2-0 record tied with Pine Grove. Frackville now holds a record of 1-1.
