Treasurer's Office
Treasurer Linda Yeich said “Many changes happened with hunting and doe licenses for the 2023-24 season.
In April, we learned what new procedures will be taking effect. The pink envelope application process has been eliminated. All Pink envelopes will be RETURNED to the hunter if we receive them in our office. Hunters can now purchase their antlerless licenses/tags online at HuntFish.pa.org or over the counter at the Treasurer’s Office or any in-store licensing agent, when you buy your annual Pennsylvania hunting license. We will be extending our hours from 8:00 am to 6:00 p.m. on the 26th of June to accommodate the PA resident hunters on the first day they can purchase their licenses. Please like and follow my face book page “Schuylkill County Treasurer’s Office.” I will continue to post updated information as it becomes available.”
Please check out the new county website at www.schuylkillcountypa.gov. Many of the applications for the Treasurer’s office are accessible on the website. Applications for dog licenses, Small Games of Chance and many others are available for the public.
Our office continues to handle lifetime and annual Dog licenses for the county. Annual licenses are valid for each calendar year. Lifetime dog licenses are only available for dogs that are microchipped. You must have the dog scanned, complete a dog license application, have the veterinarian complete a Permanent Identification Verification form, and mail all documentation to the Treasurer’s office within 30 days from vet visit.
Information on Bingo Licenses and Small Games of Chance licenses for all non-profit organizations can also be obtained either in the office or online. Small Games of Chance licenses are required for all organizations conducting 50-50 raffles, using pull tabs (such as lottery) and rip off tickets and hosting Chinese auctions. Your Small Games of Chance number must be printed on the tickets or a label placed on ticket prior to selling. Any use of online raffles and auctions are considered illegal.
