William J. Woll, 69, St. Clair, passed away Thursday June 1, 2023 at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Pottsville, June 1, 1954, He was a son of the late William and Elizabeth (Ryan) Woll.
William worked as a Plant Operator for Reading Anthracite at the St. Nicholas Breaker. He then retired after 17 years in the plumbing department at Fort Indiantown Gap.
He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair; National Rifle Association, St. Clair Fish & Game Association and Centre Pike Hunting Club.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years Janice (Ney) Woll, 2 sons Daniel Woll and his wife Nicole of Deer Lake; Brian Woll and his wife Jessica of Middleport; 3 grandchildren Grace, Bryce and Connor Woll; 2 brothers Thomas Woll and his wife Elaine of St. Clair; Gene Woll and his wife Donna of Port Carbon; 2 sisters Suzanne Kruss of Port Carbon; Betsy Woll of St. Clair; Nieces and nephews.
As per William’s wishes, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s’ Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 18105. Burial will be in Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Pottsville.
