Firefighters are at the scene of a working house fire in Pottsville.
Just before 5:00pm, emergency personnel were called to 515 Mauch Chunk Street in Pottsville for a house fire with a fire in the kitchen.
As Pottsville's fire chief arrived on scene, he issued a working fire page. All of Pottsville's fire units were called to the scene along with Schuylkill Haven's RIT.
Just after 5:00pm, the fire was reported knocked and ventilation was taking place.
UPDATE: The fire was marked under control at 5:15pm, with overhaul in progress.
