According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville on Sunday, July 16th, 2023, around 5:20pm, a woman arrived at the barracks to speak with a Trooper.

The woman told police she was traveling north on Route 61/Skyline Drive near Mall Road when she was struck in the face by an empty water thrown from a red sedan as it was passing.

A witness corroborated the statement saying the bottle was thrown from a front passenger window of the vehicle, landing in the driver side of the victim's vehicle.

Both drivers had no interaction prior to the incident.

Based on the information provided by the victim and the witness, State Police were able to identify the driver as Seamus McNicholl, 23, of Orwigsburg.
