SCHUYLKILL HAVEN - The Schuylkill Haven Boys Basketball Varsity Team showcased their skills on the court as they emerged victorious with a perfect 7-0 record at the Elizabethtown College Basketball Team Camp this past weekend.
The Junior Varsity Team also demonstrated their strength, securing an impressive 5-1 record during the three-day competition.
With a resounding display of skill and teamwork, the Schuylkill Haven varsity squad left their mark on the camp, defeating high school teams from across the region. The competition was fierce, featuring tough opponents from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York.
Head Coach Fran Murphy expressed immense pride in his team's performance, highlighting their relentless dedication to training and preparation leading up to the camp. "The Haven Kids are a close-knit group. They like to compete." said Coach Murphy. " The Kids have shown much dedication and have put in the work this offseason to improve individually and improve as a team."
