The Pennsylvania State Police have released more information on the crash that injured three and took the life of an 18-year-old on Monday morning.
According to Troopers from the Frackville barracks, the crash occurred around 4:21am, Monday, as Zakary Kluchinsky, 18, Jeffrey Livergood, 22, Logan Payne, 18, all of Frackville, and Jenna Sallade, 18, of Mahanoy City were traveling south on Route 924 just south of Shenanodoah in a Honda Civic. State Police did not specify who was driving the vehicle.
The driver lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons striking the embankment on the right side of the highway causing their vehicle to roll multiple times, ejecting all 4 occupants.
Sallade was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:50am by Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Andrew Szczyglak. The other three occupants were flown to Geisinger in Danville and Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest near Allentown.
Livergood and Payne were listed has having serious injuries. The severity of Kluchninsky's injuries was unknown.
Route 924 was closed for nearly 5 hours while the crash scene was investigated.
