According to Pottsville Police, on Thursday, August 10th, 2023, officers were dispatched to 2200 Block of West Market Street for a report of a motor vehicle accident.
Police arrived to the area and it was determined that Loretta Thompson, 49, of Pottsville was travelling east bound in the 2200 block of West Market Street and turned left onto Montgomery St into the path of Anthony Gaburick, 48, of Pottsville. A passenger of in Thompson's vehicle reported a minor injury.
Thompson's vehicle sustained severe disabling damage and Gaburick's sustained minor but disabling damage.
Both vehicles were towed from this location.
Thompson was cited for the crash.
