Emergency personnel assisted with an off-road rescue on Saturday afternoon in Ashland.
The incident occurred around 1:00pm in the area of the Famous Reading Outdoors parking lot near Catawissa Road in Ashland.
The call came in for a rider that flipped his ATV with the ATV landing on top of him.
Personnel from Ashland's American Hose Company, Washington Fire Company, and EMS from Washington Ambulance and Shenandoah Ambulance traveled into the woods and brought the victim to a waiting ambulance.
The victim was then transported to Memorial Field where a landing zone was setup and he was flown to Geisinger Hospital.
Early reports were the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
