Residents and commuters in the City of Pottsville should prepare for travel delays as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to begin a milling and paving project on West Market Street in Pottsville starting Tuesday.
The work is scheduled to take place from Centre Street to 12th Street.
During the milling phase, scheduled to begin on Tuesday, August 15, the focus will be on the even side of West Market Street, specifically the side adjacent to Roma businesses. On Wednesday, August 16, attention will shift to the odd side of West Market Street, along the Murphy Jewelers side of the street.
Beginning, Thursday, August 17th, the project will shift back to the even side for repaving, and on Friday, back to the odd side.
