A Pottsville woman is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison for allegedly having sexual relationships with two juveniles.
According to Pottsville Chief of Police John Morrow, on Monday, August 21st, 2023, Kristina Kellner, 33, of Pottsville, was taken into custody pursuant to two criminal complaints filed by Detective Welsh of the Pottsville Bureau of Police.
Chief Morrow says a criminal investigation was initiated in May of 2023 after Childline referred a report of a sexual abuse to their department.
The report stated that Kellner was having a sexual relationship with a now 16-year juvenile male.
During the course of this investigation, the Detective Division interviewed the juvenile and learned that Kellner began having inappropriate sexual contact with him prior to his sixteenth birthday then continued having a relationship with the juvenile until confronted by the victim's mother.
During the course of this initial investigation, a search warrant was served on a social media website operated by Kellner which resulted in the Pottsville Bureau of Police identifying a second victim.
The second victim is a 15-year-old juvenile male who disclosed that he also had an inappropriate relationship with Kellner.
The second victim told investigators that Kellner had inappropriate sexual contact with him on at least two occasions within the City of Pottsville.
Kellner was charged with Involuntary Sexual Deviate Sexual intercourse, Indecent Assault and two counts of Corruption of Minors.
She was arraigned before Magisteria District Judge James Reiley on Monday and committed to Schuylkill County Prison after being unable to post $15,000 straight cash bail.
Kellner will have a preliminary hearing on Monday, August 28, 2023, before Judge Reiley.
