Jeanette H. Lewis, 87, of Wayne Township, passed away Wednesday, August 16th, at her daughter's residence in Hershey.
Born in Pottsville on August 3, 1936, she was a daughter of the late James & Violet (Herring) Hardy.
She was the widow of Eugene R. Lewis, her husband of 52 years, who passed away in 2014.
Jeanette was a graduate of Cressona High School.
She was a homemaker most of her life, but had also worked for Agway, and the former Laneco, both in Cressona.
Jeanette is survived by a son, Douglass Lewis, husband of Holly, of North Manheim Township; & a daughter, Tracy Jansson, husband of Frank Palmieri, of Hershey. She is also survived by grandchildren: Chelsea Schnoke (Ryan), Brooks Lewis, Abigail Freiwald (Matthew), Ariel Lewis, Bryce Lewis (Shana), Amelia Lewis (Chris Nemits), Brayden Lewis, Abree Lewis, & Brandt Lewis, and great-grandchildren: Ashton, & Deegan Schnoke, Hudson, & Ellarie Freiwald, Maverick, & Calum Nemits, and Baby Girl Lewis arriving in October.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jeanette is also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Hardy.
Services are private at the family's convenience.

Jeffrey L. Gossard, 56, of Carlisle, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, July 29, 2023 at his home.
Born in Harrisburg, October 5, 1966, a son of the late Kenneth Gossard and Lois Zink Miller and her husband Russel Miller.
He was United States Army Veteran.
Jeff had his CDL License and was employed in the trucking industry.
He was a big fan of motor racing. Specifically, he enjoyed watching Dale Earnhardt. He also had a talent for mechanical work and could often be found working on cars and riding motorcycles.
Surviving are his daughter, Megan Gossard, Tremont; a grandson, Skylar Boyer, Tremont; two brothers, David Miller, Mechanicsburg, and Bob Gossard and his wife Brenda, Mechanicsburg; two stepsisters, Julie Brunt and Dianne McIntrie, both of Florida; two nieces, Taylor and Mesa.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 10:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City.

Pearl (Kofka) Hutsko, 88 years of age, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at UPMC Carlisle Hospital.
Pearl was a native of Forestville, Cass Township, She was a graduate of Cass Township Schools. After marrying, she and her husband moved to Harrisburg, Pa. where she resided until her recent illness.
Pearl was the widow of Michael Hutsko Sr. of Jonestown, Cass Twp., who predeceased her in 1986. She was the daughter of the late Stephen and Susan (Demcher) Kofka.
Surviving Pearl is a son, Rev. Michael Hutsko, Mt. Carmel, daughters, Jane, wife of Jeffery Weber, Sandra, wife of Bryan Coen, and Patricia Hutsko, all of the Harrisburg area.
Pearl is also survived by four grandchildren, Nathan, husband of Angela Weber, Christopher Weber, Jacob Coen, and Emily Hutsko, as well as Great-granddaughter, Lyra Eve Weber.
Pearl was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Minersville and attended St. Ann Byzantine Catholic Church, Harrisburg.
A Requiem Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, August 21st at 11:00 am at Saint Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Minersville with Reverned Mark Fesniak celebrant. .
There shall be no public visitation. However, family and friends are cordially invited to gather at St. Nicholas Hall, Primrose, for a period of sharing and fellowship following the interment in Saint Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Nicholas School Fund 415 Front Minersville, Pa. 17954 or Hospice of Central Pa.1320 Linglestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
