Bradley (Brad) R. Renninger, 34, of Minersville, passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 18th, in Pottsville. Brad was born in Pottsville, on November 28, 1988, a son of Joy M. (Helterbran) and Wayne P. Renninger, of Orwigsburg. Brad graduated from Blue Mountain High School, class of 2007. He worked as a Computer Draftsman at Emtrol-Buell Technologies Lebanon, PA for the past 16 years.
Brad was also known as U.B., Braduumms & DarbDaDestroyer. Among gaming his many interests include music, singing, reading, writing, Star Wars, Harry Potter, shooting darts, shooting pool, river tubing, kayaking, disc golf, boating, hunting & fishing. He worked on cars, ATVs, motorcycles & wine & beer making. He was an Orwigsburg Boy Scout and also played guitar in a band with his friends. Brad was known as the "little brother" to all who knew him. His family had already known him as a hero and he will be forever loved and missed by all. He recently came upon a motorcycle accident and heroically summoned help to arrive. Brad was very dedicated to his family and his friends.
In addition to his parents, Brad is survived by his brother Wayne P. Renninger II, husband of Kimberly and his sister Samantha Rodnick. He is also survived by nieces & nephews, Cody Rodnick, husband of Katelynn, Alexandria Renninger, Aaryn Rodnick, Wayne Renninger III, Alayna Rodnick, & great niece Eliana Rodnick. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles & cousins as well as many friends that he considered family. A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, August 25th at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg. Public visitation will begin at 1:00 PM with friend Mark Foose beginning eulogies at 4:00.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Interment will be private.
Born in Shenandoah, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Victoria Kacelowicz. She worked as a seamstress at the former Model Garment Factory, Frackville until her retirement.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Dura Sr.; her son, Stephen M. Dura and a son-in-law, John C. Murphy.
Claire is survived by her two daughters: Darlene "Enie" Murphy, Harrisburg; Sharon and her husband Brenton Hake, Lancaster; her sister, Theresa Harkins, Shenandoah; her grandchildren: Michael (Alva) Dura, Matt (Ana) Dura, Mark Dura, Emily(Franklin) Massie, Adam (Allie) Hake, Patrick and Timothy Murphy; her great-grandchildren: Hailey, Frances, Hugo, Whit and Pearl; nieces and nephews.
Claire's family thanks the loving and dedicated staff at both Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill, Pottsville and Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 25th at St. Joseph the Worker Parish (St. Ann’s Church) 49 N. Line Street Frackville with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito, pastor, as the celebrant. A viewing will be held at the church on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of mass. Interment will follow in Holy Ascension Orthodox Cemetery, Frackville.

Jean M. Smith, 93, of Tremont, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Rock, Washington Township, June 2, 1930, a daughter of the late Charles and Carrie Trumbo Ditzler. Jean was a graduate of Pine Grove High School.
She retired as a clerk at the former Hill's Department Store.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Smith, 2022.
Surviving are her two children, Judy Moyer and her husband, Bruce, Zerbe and Ted Smith, Coaldale. three grandchidlren, Michelle Delaney, Melissa Koch and Jay Searle, three great grandchildren, Matt and Shawn Delaney and Alison Mitchell.
Jean will be laid to rest privately in Manbecks Cemetery, Pine Grove.
