The Schuylkill County Volunteer Firefighters' Association Convention Parade is this Saturday.
The Liberty Fire Company No. 4 of Schuylkill Haven and the Good Will Hose of Cressona are co-hosting this year's convention with hundreds of fire trucks and fireman expected to descend on the boroughs on Saturday for the parade.
The parade caps off the week of events that included a memorial service, delegates night, and mug night.
The parade is scheduled to step off at 1:00pm, Saturday, from Saylor Street in Schuylkill Haven and
- follow Saylor and Schuylkill streets in Schuylkill Haven
- Down Schuylkill Street to Front Street
- Right on Front Street to Chestnut Street
- Left on Chestnut Street to Fourth Street
- Right on Fourth Street to Walnut Street
- Right on Walnut Street to Cressona Legion
- Go underneath railroad bridge onto Sillyman Street
- Judges stand across street from Good Will Hose
- Go past Good Will Hose to traffic light
- Right on Pottsville Street
- with parade ending at Hydro.
A live performance from Toolshed Jack at Good Will Hose in Cressona will follow the parade.
