Residents in the Pine Grove area or anyone driving along Interstate 81 are asked to report anything suspicious after a wanted man fled police.
UPDATE: Hunter was apprehended by the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven on Friday morning.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023, around 7:10pm, Troopers from the Jonestown barracks encountered 36-year-old Jeremy Hunter on I-81 in the area of mile marker 100.8, Pine Grove Township.
Hunter was found to have full extradition warrants out of Georgia and Alabama.
Upon attempting to take Hunter into custody, he was able to evade capture by fleeing over the guide rail of I-81 N into the woods in the area of Oak Grove Road.
PSP Jonestown encourages all residents in the area to ensure that their homes and vehicles are locked, as Hunter may be looking for opportunities to flee the area.
Any suspicious activity should be immediately reported to your local police department.
Hunter is described as a 36-year-old Asian male of average build with tattoos on both arms and legs. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, black shorts, and no shoes.
