One more score in the 4th quarter by McGroarty would seal Mahanoy's win 40-0.
With this win, the Bears clinched their first victory of the season, improving their record to 1-2. Their next challenge awaits as they prepare to host Catasauqua next Friday at 7 pm in front of their home crowd.
On the other side, Panther Valley falls to 1-2 after the tough loss and will have to regroup as they continue their journey on the road. Their next battle takes them to Shenandoah Valley this Friday, where they aim to bounce back from this setback and get back on the winning track.
