MEET THE SCHUYLKILL COUNTY MARCHING BANDS is back, highlighting the Marching Bands from our Schuylkill County School Districts.  Next to be featured for the 2023 season is the marching band from Shenandoah Valley, directed by John P. Shoener.

Director John P. Shoener has been director of the band for 7 years.

The Marching Band's theme for 2023 is Lovin' The Music- it features music about Love. The show opens with Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis, then Don't Go Breakin' My Heart by Elton John & Kiki Dee, then What Is Love by Haddaway, closing with Can't Take My Eyes Off You by Frankie Valli

Goals for 2023:

This year Director Shoener says he wants to give the band as many quality performance opportunities as possible. I also want the success of our marching band season to extend over to Concert Band season. We also have the privilege to have Ms. Britney Bidding as our new Elementary Music Teacher.
