She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Anna (Reing) Long and a brother Robert Long. She is survived by a sister Mary Lou Rushanan of Frackville, two sons Richard Hughes and his wife Angela of Barnesville and John Hughes of Frackville, grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews .
Services will be private. David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City is in charge of arrangements.

George E. Darker of Orwigsburg, PA and formerly of Tamaqua, PA, died on Monday, September 11, 2023, in Orwigsburg. He was a son of the late Elvin L. and Gertrude (Brown) Darker.
A 1963 graduate of Tamaqua High School, George served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. A plumber, he owned and operated his own plumbing business.
George is survived by a daughter, Kimberly of California and many nieces and nephews including RaeAlexi Darker of Ringtown, PA. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Lois Lutz, Phyllis Simmonds, Donna Darker, Elwood Darker, and Raymond Darker.
No services are planned. Burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua will take place at the convenience of the family.

Born in Pottsvile, December 16, 1960, a son of the late Charles and Irene Mitchell Zerbe. He was a graduate of Minersville High School.
He was an Army National Guard Veteran.
Bruce was previously employed as a school bus driver and a truck driver for local businesses.
He was a member of the Newtown Fire Company.
Surviving are his son, Kirt Zerbe and his wife Theresa, Elizabethville; a sister, Brenda Wiscount and her husband Dennis, Tremont; a granddaughter Ava Zerbe, Elizabethville.

Dorothy M. Barlow, 85, of Shenandoah, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Shenandoah on December 17th, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Josef and Zofia (Janiec) Zajac.
Besides her parents, Dorothy was preceded by her husband Walter Barlow, her son – Walter “Butch” Barlow; 3 sisters - Josephine Sokolowski, Loretta Zajac, and Mary Zajac; 5 brothers – Stanley Zajac, John Zions, Frankie Zajac, Michael Zajac, and Joseph Zajac; and son-in-law, Mickey Colosimo
Surviving family include her daughter – Deborah Colosimo, her sister – Theresa Zajac, 5 grandchildren – Tara Barlow and her fiancĂ© Tony Grodzki, Brandy Barlow, Jeremy Barlow, Austin Barlow with his wife Claudia and son, Trisha Miller with her husband Troy; and 4 great grandchildren – Aliza Reightler, Gabrielle Gulden, Briana Gulden, and Chase Barlow.
Dorothy worked many years as a housekeeper for the Oravitz Home for Funerals, and 15 years for the Shenandoah Manor.
Dorothy loved spending time with her cats. She also enjoyed taking valley rides (aka- bigfoot searching), watching cryptozoology shows, dancing, and watching her favorite television show – Ghost Hunters.
Family and friends can gather for a celebration of life party on, Saturday, September 30th starting at 2pm at 325 E. Centre St, Shenandoah.
Theresa L. (Gentile) Chapman, 66, of Pottsville, passed away peacefully, Sunday September 10th at her home.
She was born October 11th, 1956 in Pottsville a daughter of the late Vincent and Helen Prebula Gentile.
She was a 1974 graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Pottsville.
Theresa worked for Boscov’s of Pottsville, for over 40 years and most recently at Wal-Mart, St. Clair for 3 years
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.
Theresa was the best grandmother for her grandchildren. She loved to get on the floor and play games and make believe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Gentile.
She is survived by her husband Michael; two children, Stephen Chapman and Rachel Kreiger and husband, Scott; and 5 grandchildren. She has two brothers, John and Vincent, and 2 sisters Christine, Kathryn Carroll and husband Michael; Sister-in-law Kay Mattea-Wollyung and brother-in-law, Robert Wollyung, along with nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 20th at 11am from St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, with Rev. Kevin J. Bobbin as celebrant. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30AM until the time of mass. Interment will follow in St. John No. 2 Cemetery, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Theresa be made to American Brain Tumor Association,8550 W. Eve M. Wozniski, 55 of Pottsville, died peacefully Wednesday, September 6th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.
She was born June 6, 1968, in Pottsville a daughter of Evangeline Hozella (Starzetsky) and the late Samuel Hozella. She was a 1986 graduate of Nativity BVM High School. Over the years, Eve worked in banking and the home improvement industry. She was lastly employed by Penske.
Eve was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Minersville.
Eve was loved by her children, grandchild, family, and friends. She enjoyed cooking and listening to her favorite music.
Eve is survived by her children Derek Wozniski (Regina Wozniski); Victoria Lindsay (Maxwell Lindsay); her granddaughter, Rafaella Wozniski; two sisters, Christiane Cappella (Joe); Maureen Moyer (Steve); brother, Samuel Hozella; former husband, Michael Wozniski; nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30th, at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
