Grace E. Long, age 91, of Frackville formerly of Mahanoy City, died Wednesday morning at Shenandoah Senior Living Community.
Born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital she was the daughter of the late Mordecai and Grace (Hill) Lewis. She was a 1950 graduate of West Mahanoy Township High School and worked as a housewife. She was a member of BPOE 695 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Long Sr. and a sister Dorothy Potkovak.
Survivors include a daughter Debbie Hope of New Braunfels TX and a son John T. Long and his wife China of Frackville, a brother John Lewis of Bethlehem. 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Services will be privately held.
Contributions in Grace's name to Compassus Hospice 500 Hawk Ridge Drive, Hamburg, PA 19526 or the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.

Carol Ann Berzowski, 73, of Seminole, Florida, formerly of Chesterbrook, PA and Mar Lin, Norwegian Township, died on Monday, August 14, in Clearwater, Florida.
Born on January 19, 1950, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Violet (nee Margiawicz) Berzowski. She was a 1967 graduate of Pottsville High School and a 1971 graduate of Penn State with her Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education. She later earned her Master’s degree in Education in 1976, also at Penn State. She was a teacher in Philadelphia suburban schools and also taught at St. Nicholas Parochial School, Minersville. She later worked as a Programmer/Project Manager for Provident Mutual, later Nationwide Insurance, until retiring in 2009.
A life-long learner and teacher, she continued to tutor mathematics with individual students throughout her career. She also was a volunteer teacher of English for speakers of other languages. When one of her nieces chose education as a career, she enjoyed sharing her teaching and traveling experiences. She enjoyed cross-country skiing until rheumatoid arthritis slowed her down. She was an avid reader and researcher and was up to date on all current events. In recent years, she most loved her Zoom calls with family every Sunday afternoon.
Preceding her in death was a brother, Michael W. Berzowski, in 2002.
Carol is survived by siblings, George Berzowski (spouse, Diane “Marge”), Mar Lin, Anna Germ (spouse, Tim), Murrysville, and Patricia Patitz (spouse, Dennis), Seminole, Florida. She is also survived by five nieces and a nephew, Melissa Scott, Jennifer Richard, Nicole Berzowski, Kaylyn Koenig, Megan Germ, and Ben Germ; and 11 great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend family visitation at 9:00 A.M. followed by Requiem Divine Liturgy on Saturday, September 23 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 415 N. Front Street, Minersville. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Branch Township. Dutcavich Funeral Home has charge. Visit www.dutcavich.com.
