Jean Meyer, 71, of Pottsville, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2023.
Jean was born in Pottsville on July 7, 1952, a daughter of the late William and Rita (Rosenberger) Stock.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by brothers, William "Bill" Stock in 2006 and Jeffery "Jeff" Stock in 2015, along with the love of her life, George Meyer, her husband of 39 years in 2011.
She is survived by three daughters, Melissa, wife of Jason Myers of Harrisburg, Michelle Meyer, wife of Brandon Martin of Quakertown and Maribeth Meyer of Pottsville. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Ashley Lucas, Joey Lucas, Brady Martin and Elliot Martin, along with a great granddaughter, Addyson Lucas.
Sisters-in law Colleen Stock and Janet Mickoseff, three nephews, Michael Stock, Eric Stock and Mark Stock, and a niece Allison Torrenti, along with several great nieces and nephews who also survive her.
Jean was always quite content in her lifetime and especially loved spending time with her family and all of her 'special hen friends'. Her fridge was always full and you couldn't leave without a snack.
Her generosity and kindness extended beyond family. She always had a smile for everyone. Jean was the epitome of kindness!
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, 913 Mahantango Street, Pottsville, on Saturday, September 30th at 11 AM. A viewing will be heldat the church from 9 AM untill the time of the service. Jean will be laid to rest alongside her husband in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, immediately following the mass.

Harry W. Williams , 59, of Morea, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown PA.Jean was born in Pottsville on July 7, 1952, a daughter of the late William and Rita (Rosenberger) Stock.

Born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, October 6, 1963, he was a son of the late Jay and Carolyn (Warning) Williams.
He was preceded in death by 3 sisters Nan Williams, Susan Williams, Arline Pillows, and brother Kyle Williams.
Surviving are his wife Kathrine, 2 daughters, Jessica Williams of Mahanoy City, Rebecca Williams of Hometown, 2 sisters Carolyn Scull and her husband Ernest of Brownsville, NJ, Jeanne Bendura and her husband Mark of Kirkville,NY, 4 brothers Tommy Williams and his wife Barbara of Southampton, NJ, Jay Williams and his wife Susan of Oak Island, NC, Russell Williams and his wife Veronica of Mahnoy City, James Williams, Philadelphia.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from the German Protestant Cemetery, Morea Rd, Mahanoy City.

Shirley Miller Delinsky, 88, of Frackville, PA died at her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, September 24, 2023.
Born in Mahanoy Plane, she was the daughter of Anna Curry Miller and Charles Miller. She was a graduate of Gilberton High School.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William “Buck” Delinsky and her sister Marie Miller Rafferty.
She is survived by her three children Susan Kutchinsky (Chas) of Philadelphia, PA; Janie Roberts (Tom) of Frackville, PA and Bill Delinsky (Kathleen) of Sykesville , MD. She is also survived by her brother James Miller (Kay) of Camp Hill, PA and her sister Barbara Naspinsky of Wyomissing, PA. Shirley was Mommom to six grandchildren: Kelly Gigliotti (Fred), Nicole McFetridge (Adam), Kevin Kessock, Taryn Mahon (Jimmy), Natalie Delinsky and Tess Delinsky and GiGi to five great-grandchildren: Maya and Ella Gigliotti, Keira and Gavin McFetridge, Margot Mahon and a great grandson due next month.
Shirley was active in her community and church, giving of her time and talents for decades. She was a member of the former St Joseph’s Church and then St. Joseph the Worker parish for 66 years. She was a member of the Knight’s of Columbus Auxiliary, Catholic Daughters and Ladies of the Elks.
She loved her family and friends unconditionally. She never gave up on anyone and always gave everyone the benefit of the doubt. Her optimism was infectious.
Shirley lived with every ounce of her being until the very end. She never stopped learning and enjoying the things she loved whether that be shopping, gardening, reading, but most of all being with family.
Shirley was a selfless mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, daughter, wife and friend. All who knew her and loved her will forever cherish how blessed they were and will miss her dearly.
Visitation for family and friends will take place on Saturday, September 30th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Parish (St. Ann’s Church), 49 North Line Street, Frackville, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be private

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Metro and Mary (McGasko) Riffon.
MaryAnn was a graduate of Hazleton High School, class of 1969, and a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.
Prior to retiring, she was employed in the area garment industry for many years, and last employed at Altadis, of McAdoo.
MaryAnne enjoyed gardening and caring for her beloved dogs, Buddy and Bridget.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 42 years, Frank “Copa” Camilleri (2012); brother Ronald Riffon; and her beloved aunt Clara Sockolosky.
Surviving are her daughter Kimberly Ann McHugh and husband Carl, of McAdoo; grandchildren Kaity McHugh and partner Dominic Moyer, and Carl McHugh, Jr., both of Philadelphia; sister Dorothy Fudge, of Lancaster; brother Mickey Riffon and wife Michelle, of Hometown; sister Kathy Dever and husband Bill of Tresckow; and nieces and nephews also survive.
Her funeral will be held Friday. Rev. Msgr. William Baker will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial in Church of All Saints, McAdoo, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, McAdoo.
A calling hour will be held Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.

Brenda L. Lengel, 57, of Schuylkill Haven passed unexpectedly on Monday after a fun day out in Hershey with her friend.
Born in Pottsville, November 10, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ernestine Buck.
Brenda worked as the lead facility associate with Sovereign Cleaning Company.
Brenda was full of life and laughter. She will be remembered as the ‘Life of the Party”. She left an impression everywhere she went.
Brenda was a collector and had numerous Buddhas along with other statues and collectibles.
She had a wonderful dog Rosie that she loved very much.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Cindy D’Alio and her niece Tanya Marie Guldin. She is also preceded in death by her grandmother, Anna Tice who recently passed.
Brenda is survived by her son, Cody Lengel of Emmaus, companion to Lisa Do. She is also survived by her companion Roy Frew along with his son Tom Frew. She is also survived by her siblings, Debra Leibensberger, wife of Gary, Tina Seiger wife to Bill, and John Daley husband to Kelly all of Schuylkill Haven along with nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill, Haven. A viewing will be held from 12:00 Noon until the time of services. Interment will follow on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Robert D. Greenzweig, 40 years retired educator, of South Market Street New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at home while in the care of his wife of 64 years, Lorraine E. (Arner) Greenzweig.
Born Sunday, December 8, 1935 in Andreas, Pennsylvania the son of the late Robert Sr., and Luella (Fink) Greenzweig
Surviving in addition to Lorraine are; beloved daughter, Linda Rice wife of Anthony of Orwigsburg; brother, Ronald Greenzweig and his wife Linda; grandson, Stephen Rice.
A 1953 graduate of Lehighton High School, Robert matriculated to Kutztown College earning his teaching degree in Math. Robert taught High School Math in the Blue Mountain School District for 40 years. Robert served honorably in the United States Army, was a Director for the Hidden River Credit Union for many years, and served as a clerk for Arner Auctioneers. Robert was a Lifetime member of the New Ringgold Fire Company, and former active fire fighter for the former Andreas Fire Company where he also served as secretary of the fire company. Robert enjoyed gardening, and, as a young man Robert and Lorraine assisted her family on their farm.

Interment with Military Honors presented will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania.

William A. “Bill” Zubey, Husband, Father, Brother, Friend and Patriot, 76 years of age, of Walker Township, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale, Pennsylvania after a 30 plus year battle against the effects of Agent Orange poisoning incurred while serving our country honorably as a member of the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.
Born Wednesday, November 6, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of the late William F., and Leona (Wydila) Zubey.
Surviving are; his wife of 50 years, and champion, Daryl (Chickirda) Zubey; son, William A. "Beezer" Zubey, Jr. of Tamaqua; sisters, Barbara Bowman wife of Ron and Suzanne Ritzko.,
A 1964 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, Bill currently served as Treasurer of the class reunion committee. He earned an Associates Degree in accounting from McCanns School of Business and an Associates Degree in Computer Technology from S.I.B.T. He had worked for many years at the former Atlas Powder Co. in Reynolds, and at Dana in Reading. After his disability, Bill spent many hours watching old movies while editing clips on his computer. He was a licensed Ham Radio operator under the call letters N3VPC. Bill was a model train enthusiast, and enjoyed the peacefulness of his many tropical fish aquariums. Bill enjoyed the companionship of his dog Maddie and relished her last snuggles when he returned home briefly on Friday afternoon. Bill was an excellent drummer in a local band the "Chevelle's" in the 1960's. He never lost his love for the “oldies”. Even at the expense of his disability, Bill was a proud American, and Proud of being a United States Marine. Bill was a member of Legion Post 173 Tamaqua.

Born Tuesday, March 4, 1941 in the Seek Section of Coaldale, Pennsylvania. the son of the late Bert, and Ruth E. (Hill) Sell.
Surviving are; his wife of 60 years, Ann Louise (Davis) Sell; daughter, Leslie Gilbert of Coaldale; brother, Bert J. Sell and his wife Roene of Tamaqua; grandchildren, Kaylee, and Kory.
A Tamaqua High School graduate, Bob served honorably as a Corporal during the Cold War. Bob worked as a car salesman for Kovatch's of Nesquehoning for over 40 years. A member of Tamaqua Primitive Methodist Church, and Nesquehoning Legion. Bob enjoyed trips to the Casino, bowling, and golfing. An ardent sports fan, Bob enjoyed following the Phillies, Eagles, and watching the Penn State Nittany Lions.
