William A. "Bud" Nabholz
, 76, of Pottsville, passed away Wednesday, September 27th, at Green Valley Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Pottsville.

Born in Pottsville on December 6, 1946, he was a son of the late Leonard & Kathryn Isabelle (Murray) Nabholz.

He was the widower of Margaret R. "Manzy" (Haughney) Nabholz, his wife of 46 years.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is also preceded in death by his brothers: Robert, & Raymond Nabholz.

Bud was a Pottsville High School graduate, and had served in the U.S. Air Force.

He worked as a union electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Bud was a member of the West End Hose Company No. 7, Pottsville for over 50 years.

He is survived by two sons: Shawn Nabholz, of Cumberland, MD; & Corey Nabholz, husband of Jamie, of Pottsville.

Bud enjoyed camping every weekend with his dog, Oreo at his campsite in Perry County.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, October 2nd at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with Pastor Kenneth McDowell officiating.

A viewing will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service.

Interment with military honors will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions in Bud's name to West End Hose Co. No. 7, P.O. Box 961, Pottsville PA 17901.

Nona T. Reedinger
, 77, of Tower City, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill.

Born in Harrisburg, June 25, 1946, a daughter of the late Henry and Catherine Petrelonis Nicklo. Nona was a 1964 graduate of the former Lykens High School.

She worked for many years in the garment industry before retiring from the former Acme Market, Tower City.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Nona enjoyed baking, sewing, and talking to her family and friends. Above all else, spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren, brought her the greatest joy.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James Reedinger, March 20, 2022, and a daughter, Dorothy "Dolly" Reedinger, January 19, 2017.

Surviving are her daughter, Tina Reedinger; two granddaughters, Amber Rice and Bandi Wetzel; two great grandchildren, Connor Rice and Brynlee Grove; one brother, Rudy Nicklo.

Following Nona's wishes there will be no formal services.

Memorial donations in her name can be made Tower Porter EMS, P.O. Box 33, Tower City, PA 17980.

The Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services is honored to serve Nona's family.

Carol M. Hubosky
, age 79, of Mahanoy City, died Wednesday morning at St. Luke's Hospice in Coaldale. 

Born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Boyle) Stasak. She was a 1962 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and attended Empire Beauty School. She owned and operated her own beauty shop and also worked as a paraprofessional first at Shenandoah Valley Elementary School and later for Mahanoy Area High School. She was a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City. 

She is survived by her husband of 51 years Francis X. "Frank" Hubosky Jr., a daughter Hope L. Leber and her husband Jeff of Harleysville, a son Christopher F. Hubosky and his wife Jenna of Beavercreek Ohio, a sister Joanne Mitchell of Mahanoy City, 4 granddaughters Avery and Alyssa Leber and Stella and Tessa Hubosky as well as nieces and nephews. 

 Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher on Monday morning at 11 AM from St. Teresa of Calcutta Church. 

Interment will follow in Sky View Memorial Park in Hometown. Friends may call at the church on Monday morning from 9:30 AM until time of Mass. 

Contributions in Carol's name to St. Teresa of Calcutta Church would be appreciated by the family and will be accepted at the visitation.
