Nellie was born on June 6th, 1929. She was married to John Sherman who preceded her in 2010.
Besides her husband John, she was preceded by 2 sons, Tony and Frank Sherman.
Surviving is her daughter in law, Stephanie Sherman, a son, Jay Sherman, a grandson Christopher Sherman, and a granddaughter, Maria Griswold with her husband William.
A visitation will take place on Monday, September 11th from 8 to 10am at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah. Scripture services will be held at 10am and will be officiated by Msgr. Ronald Bocian. Burial will be private the following morning at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.

Dr. Robert D. Bricker, 60 of Pottsville, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday at University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.
He was born October 25, 1962, in Frackville a son of Donald M. and Catherine Chrin Bricker, Frackville.
He was a 1981 graduate of North Schuylkill High School where he was valedictorian, a 1985 graduate of Albright College, and a 1989 graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduating he did his osteopathic internship at the Community Hospital of Reading and completed his Anesthesiology residency at the Community Hospital of Lancaster.
Bob was an Anesthesiologist at the former Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville Hospital and Warne Clinic and most recently Lehigh Anesthesia Associates prior to retiring.
Bob was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville; American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Anesthesiology; and a 2022 inductee of the North Schuylkill Wall of Fame. He also earned the rank of Eagle Scout in his younger years.
Bob will always be remembered for making you feel like a true friend by welcoming you with plenty of food, drinks, and stories. He was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife of 33 years of marriage. Dr. Marylou Rainone; a son Lucas Bricker and his wife Caitlin Johnson, Fleetwood; a daughter Dr. Corinne Bricker, Mohawk, NY; a sister, Barabara Kane, Frackville; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; his dog Toby and his grandpup Huck.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11AM from St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, with Rev. Barnabas Shayo as celebrant. Family and friends are invited to a viewing at the church from 5-7PM Sunday and Monday from 9:30AM until 10:45AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Bob be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, PO Box 22324, New York, NY 10087, or St. Patrick Memorial Fund, 319 Mahantongo St. Pottsville, PA 17901

Lois Tinninis, 93, of Mahanoy City, passed away Tuesday, September 5th, at Schuylkill Center
Lois was born in West Hazleton, PA on May 10, 1930, a daughter of the late Frances (Wojciechowski) and Al Truskowsky.
She graduated from Mahanoy City High School class of 1947.
Lois had worked at City Shirt in Mahanoy City.
She was wife of the late Joseph Tinninis.
Lois is survived by two daughters, Susan Tinninis, Pottsville, Lois, wife of Michael Wallauer, of Fountain Springs; and a son, Charles, husband of Marci, of Greencastle, and by 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her son Joseph and brothers Al, and Thomas Truskowsky.
Services are private at the convenience of family.
