Schuylkill County Detectives are reaching out to the public for assistance in locating a wanted Pottsville man.
Rahman Quran Herrera, aged 45, is described as a Black, Non-Hispanic male, standing at 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 230 pounds. Authorities have issued two active bench warrants for his arrest.
The first incident involving Herrera occurred on September 5, 2023, when he failed to appear for Jury Selection for a case of his at the Schuylkill County Courthouse. In this case, the original charges against him include Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) - a felony, Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) - another felony, Criminal Use of Communication Facility - a felony of the third degree, and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) - a misdemeanor.
Another instance took place on June 26, 2023, when Herrera missed a Preliminary Hearing at Magisterial District Court 21-3-07. The original charges in this case consist of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, with one felony count each for Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Fentanyl, Fluorofentanyl, Heroin, and N-ethylpentylone. Additionally, there are misdemeanor counts for the possession of each of these substances, along with a charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Herrera's last known address was 903 West Norwegian Street, Pottsville, PA 17901.
