An Allentown man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison for threatening to kill a Schuylkill County Judge.
Bono left a voicemail making a threat to kill Judge Hobbs regarding a previous case that Judge Hobbs presided over.
Bono was taken into custody in Allentown on an unrelated warrant.
Bono was transported to Schuylkill County and arraigned by Judge Reiley on charges of retaliation against prosecutor or judicial official a felony of the 2nd degree, criminal use of a communication facility a felony of the third degree, terroristic threats a misdemeanor of the first degree and criminal attempt to obstruct administration of law or other governmental function a misdemeanor of the second degree.
Bono was remanded to the Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $500,000 straight cash bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 30th, 2023, before Judge Reiley.
