A driver struck two parked cars and a home in Rush Township earlier this week.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred around 5:45pm on Monday, October 16th, 2023, on Ben Titus Road, in Rush Township.
A report from police stated that Wayne Gerhard, 50, of Weatherly, was driving his Ram 1500 east on Ben Titus Road when he veered off the eastbound shoulder and travelled through a large grass field near 46 Ben Titus Road.
Gerhard continued to drive through the grass field striking a Chevrolet Malibu and Chevrolet Cobalt parked in a driveway.
Gerhard's truck continued and came to a final stop after hitting the foundation of a home.
All three vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
Gerhard was not injured in the crash but was transported to the hospital for chemical testing after exhibiting signs of alcohol impairment.
