The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville have identified the victim of a fatal crash in Walker Township on Wednesday.
According to troopers, Jodi Green, 38, of Lehighton died at the scene of the three-vehicle crash that occurred around 4:11pm.
A crash report from State Police says a vehicle driven by a 53-year-old female was traveling south on Route 209 while Green was traveling north, while a third vehicle involved, driven by a 23-year-old male, was traveling behind Green.
The crash began as the driver traveling south swerved into the northbound lane, then swerved back, then back again colliding head-on with Green's vehicle. The third vehicle struck the rear of Green's after the first collision.
Green would be pronounced at the scene by the Schuylkill County Coroner's Office. Police say she was not wearing her seatbelt.
The drivers of the two other vehicles and a passenger in Green's vehicle were flown to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest with serious injuries.
Assisting at the scene were the Tamaqua Fire Department, Walker Township Fire Department, Lehighton EMS, Schuylkill EMS, and Tamaqua EMS.
Route 209 was closed while the Pennsylvania State Police Crash Reconstruction Team investigated the crash.
State Police have not identified the other people involved.
