Firefighters spent Friday evening battling a blaze in Tower City.
Just before 5:00pm, Friday, emergency personnel were called to 31 East Grand Avenue in Tower City for a working structure fire.
A 2nd alarm was struck as firefighters arrived and found heavy fire on the first floor of the home.
The fire struck a 3rd alarm calling in additional manpower before being brought under control.
One firefighter was injured battling the fire after falling through the floor.
A State Police Fire Marshal was called to the scene to investigate a cause.
The American Red Cross was called to assist 3 adults that were affected by the fire.
Firefighters remained on scene for several hours while overhaul took place.
