At the North Schuylkill School Board Meeting held on Wednesday night, a generous donation of $3,670 was gratefully accepted from the Family of Miriam Maurer.
Miriam, who passed away on October 4th, 2023, had served as the organist for the Zion's Reformed UCC in Ashland for an impressive 74 years. She was also a member of the Ashland Area Community Choir and Ralph Edwards Dance Studios.
The family made this donation as a tribute to honor Miriam's memory and her lifelong dedication to music.
