Thomas J. Stessalavage, 70, of Orwigsburg, passed away Friday, November 10th, at Geisinger St. Luke's Orwigsburg.Tom was born in Pottsville, on August 29, 1953, a son of the late Leo J. Stessalavage and Anna (Lickman) Stessalavage.
He was the husband of Cindy (Reifsnyder) Stessalavage. They were married on November 14th, 1981.
Tom graduated from Nativity High School and was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church Schuylkill Haven.

He retired from Materion Performance Alloys and Composites Shoemakersville, formerly the Brush Wellman Corp. after 35 years of employment.
We remember him for his love of soccer, Saturday night horror movies with his wife Cindy, New Years Eve Twilight Zone marathons, and spaghetti nights with his family.
In addition to Cindy, his wife of almost 42 years, Tom is survived by two daughters, Nicole Hartman, wife of Kyle, Marissa Stessalavage, companion of Rob, and a son, Jared Stessalavage, companion of Amanda. Also a sister, Leanne and her husband Dave Mengel.
Tom is also survived by his three grandchildren; granddaughters Maddy Naradko, wife of Charles, and Kallie Hartman, and a grandson Gage Stessalavage, son of Marissa and Dennis. He also has two great grandchildren Charlie & Hadlee Naradko along with three nieces and a nephew; Kelly Swanson, Lisa Akins, Brittany Reifsnyder, and Brett Reifsnyder.
Tom has many other devoted family members, including his loving cat Sherman.
A Religious Service will be held at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Orwigsburg on Wednesday November 15th, 2023 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at which time there will be a Celebration of Life Eulogy with family.
Interment will be private.

Betty L. Bopp, 71, of Lykens, passed away early Sunday morning, November 12, 2023 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pottsville.
Born in Northumberland County, September 8, 1952, a daughter of the late Daniel and Mae Oxenrider Adams. Betty was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School.
She worked as a seamstress in local garment factories, retiring from Bobbie Rogers, Wiconisco.
Betty was of the Methodist faith.
She was a member of the local senior citizen's group as well as the Orwin Fire Company Women's Auxiliary. Betty will be remembered for being a social butterfly, always ready for a good conversation. She also enjoyed shopping and had a large collection of Boyd's Bears.
Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Edward Bopp; one brother-in-law, Richard Bopp and his wife Karen, Williamstown; two nieces, Pam Fisher and her husband Mike, Mechanicsburg, and Mandee Bopp, Williamstown; one nephew, Brian Fetterhoff and his wife Colleen, Halifax.
Private funeral services will be held from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116.
