Karen Keim, 76, of Barnesville, PA, passed away Monday, November 20th, at her residence.Karen was born in Buck Mountain, PA on August 11, 1947, a daughter of the late Eva (Bobby) and Owen Jones.
She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church Mahanoy City.
Karen was a secretary for Mahanoy Area, until the birth of her children.
She enjoyed being outside and sitting on her porch among her flowers, going for rides, iced coffees and the Bloomsburg Fair. She loved all animals.
Karen graduated from Mahanoy Area High School class of 1965.
She was the wife of Daniel Keim.
Karen is survived by two daughters, Lynn, of Barnesville; Dana, of Barnesville.
She is preceded in death by a brother Owen.
Office of Christian Burial and Divine Liturgy at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Mahanoy City, at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 25th, with Rev. James Carroll officiating.
Friends and family may call Saturday 9:30 AM at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church.
Interment at St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery Mahanoy City, PA.

Stewart L. "Lonnie" Sattizahn, 84, formerly of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday, November 19th, at The Gardens at York Terrace, Pottsville.
Born in Pottsville on February 16, 1939, he was a son of the late Stewart S. & Mae (Good) Sattizahn.
He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Darlene Sattizahn.
Lonnie was the husband of Helen M. (Knoll) Sattizahn.
He was a 1957 graduate of Blue Mountain High School.
Lonnie served in the US National Guard for nine years.
He worked as a truck driver for several companies including Cressona Knit, and Hecla.
Lonnie was a motorcycle enthusiast.
In addition to his wife, Helen, he is also survived by his son, Dale L., husband of Lisa Sattizahn, of Rosetto; daughter, Donna, wife of Rob VanHorn, of Slatedale; grandchildren: Ben Shoener, Nathaniel, & Tim Sattizahn, Matt, & Jason VanHorn, & Amber Walker, nine great-grandchildren, sister, Dixie Leffew, of Etters, and brother, John Sattizahn, of Pine Grove.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 25th at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with Pastor Shawn VanDyke officiating. A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Lee I Morgan, age 71, of Hegins, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on Wednesday, June 18, 1952, in Ashland, a son of Helen Joy (Miller) Morgan of Valley View and the late Lee D "Short" Morgan.
Lee was a 1970 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.
He was the owner of the former Morgan Oil Company, Hegins.
He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View.
Lee was also a member of F AM Valley Lodge 797, Valley View.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee D "Short" Morgan; by a daughter, Beth A Bensinger, and a grandson, Donovan J Julian.
Surviving are his mother, Helen Joy (Miller) Morgan; his wife Kay (Kieffer) Morgan, to whom he was married for 51 years.
He is also survived by a daughter, Emilie K (Guy) Julian of Hegins; son, Bradley E (Laura) Morgan of Hershey; seven grandchildren, Gabrielle M (Daniel) Umholtz, Kieffer J Quandel (fiancée Natalie Brooks), Dominic L Julian, Cassidy T Morgan, Wyatt B Morgan, Gabriel G Julian, and Giovanni B Julian; a brother, Rick (Patti) Morgan of Milan; three nieces, Allison Davenport; Ashley Sanchez, and Krysta Manning; four nephews, Andrew McConomy, Derrick Morgan, Adam Morgan, and Garrett Morgan.
Funeral services will be held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, on Friday, November 24, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Suzanne Elliott officiating.
Masonic services will be held at 8:45 am at the church.
A viewing will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the church.
Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
