Ronald R. Fritz, 74, passed away at his home in Lake Wynonah on Monday, Nov 20th.
Born in West Reading on February 27, 1949, he was the son of the late Homer E. Fritz and Marjorie F. (Brooks) Fritz. Ron grew up in Reading and West Lawn. He was a 1967 graduate of Wilson High School and attended Penn State University.
Ron enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1969 and served 4 years.
He was retired after 30 years from the U.S. Postal Service.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Robin A. (Kirschman) Fritz; daughter Stacie L. (Fritz) Norman and her husband Richard of New York; daughter Stephanie R. Fritz of New Jersey; grandchildren Logan and Leah Norman; sister Sheryl E. (Fritz) Roland and husband William H. Roland III of Wyomissing. He is also survived by brothers in law and sisters in law as well as nieces and nephews.
Interment with military honors will be held 2PM Friday, December 1st, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Family and friends attending are asked to arrive at the cemetery by 1:45PM. Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.

Mark R. Harris, 59, of Mowry, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 18, after demonstrating exceptional resilience in the face of lung cancer, all while surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on Aug. 13, 1964, at Ashland Hospital, to Carolyn (Bloch) Harris and the late Harry Harris. Mark dedicated over 20 years of his life to Universal Forest Products, where he held various roles, including Supervisor.
Mark possessed a remarkable talent for woodworking, devoting his recent years to crafting custom orders that spanned multiple states. His most sought-after creations were his immaculate sheds. In his youth, Mark enjoyed dirt bike and quad racing in New York and New Jersey, with a special fondness for the Flying Dutchmen track in Pine Grove. Among his many interests, he had a passion for car mechanics and cherished spending time with his numerous animals, particularly his cats, Kitty and Jake.
Mark is survived by his life partner, Traci, and his mother, Carolyn. He leaves behind his sons, Cody and Devin, both residing in Schuylkill County; stepdaughters, Aliah (Christopher), Scranton, and Rachel (Josh), Bethlehem; siblings, Keith M. Julio (Cindy), Pine Grove, Gerald L. (Mel), Ashland, Robin (Joseph), Gordon, Ruthann (Bruce), Erdman, William (Tammy), Hegins, and Timothy; brother-in-law, Carl Zerbe, Valley View; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and others also mourn his passing.
Mark is preceded in death by his father, Harry, and his sister, Cathy Zerbe.
In addition to his many talents, Mark will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, which touched the lives of many.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at the family's convenience, with arrangements entrusted to the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, Ashland. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to assist with medical expenses and family support. Contributions can be made directly to MarkHarrisMemorial.carrd.co, honoring Mark’s legacy.
