The Schuylkill Technology Center (STC) celebrated its annual "STC Gives Back Day" on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving.
Students and faculty from both the North and South Campuses of STC dedicated their time to spreading holiday cheer and goodwill across various Boyer's Food Markets, Redner's Warehouse Markets, and Bg's Value Market stores in Schuylkill County.
The "STC Gives Back" initiative, now in its sixth consecutive year, aims to extend a helping hand to community members during the holiday season. Students actively participated in activities such as bagging groceries, assisting customers with their purchases, taking items out to cars, and returning carts to the store. More than just providing practical assistance, the STC community engaged in friendly conversations with shoppers to brighten their day as the Thanksgiving holiday approaches.
The STC community's efforts were well-received by shoppers, many of whom expressed appreciation for the thoughtful gestures and the positive impact it had on their day.
