On Monday, November 20, 2023, the Tri-Valley Lions Club honored Mazie Sankus as their November 2023 Outstanding Student of the Arts.
Mazie was selected for her talent in the area of Visual Art.
Mazie is the daughter of Paul and Nikki Sankus. She resides in Hegins, PA. She is a senior at Tri-Valley High School in the academic curriculum.
She shared with members and visitors present various art projects including a self-portrait and other drawings and projects she created.
Throughout her high school career she participated in soccer, student council, and Athletes For Christ (AFC). Her activities outside of school include being active in her church, LCBC. For honors, Mazie is a Distinguished Honor Roll student and served as captain of her soccer team. After graduation Mazie plans to attend the Empire Beauty School to study Cosmetology.
